Job summary

Fargo Public Schools is seeking a Student Support Specialist for the Adult Learning Center to provide supportive services and referrals to students and families enrolled in the Even Start Family Literacy Program.

You will assist with enrollment processes, monitor participation, collaborate on grants and reports, and help integrate early childhood education with adult learning through data-driven supports and culturally responsive practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work.
• ND licensure in social work or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Three years of experience in education, social work or related field.
• Training and experience in Parent Education.
• Training and experience in serving Multilingual learners.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support for Students and Family Services: Provide enrollment, assessments, parent education and connection to community resources.
• Systems Navigation, Advocacy and Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Design holistic care systems and coordinate with families, schools and agencies.
• Professional Practice and Program Development: Maintain licensure, participate in mandatory training, contribute to grant proposals and data reporting.
