Job summary

Fargo Public Schools is seeking a paraeducator to assist ML students with literacy skills in the classroom under the direction of a certified teacher. You will provide instructional support and help deliver direct services to students.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong written and oral communication, and basic computer skills. Preference is given to those with school experience, knowledge of IEPs, and related education or psychology training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to communicate with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians orally and in writing.
• Basic academic and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in literacy instruction and classroom activities under the direction of a certified teacher.
• Provide instructional support and deliver direct services to students.
• Support teachers with tasks and materials as needed.
