Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Delaware teaching certification in Special Education preferred.
• Experience or extensive work with students with an IEP.
• Experience with Manifestation Determination meetings.
• Experience with working with staff on implementing the student IEP.

Responsibilities

• Participate in attendance monitoring and document truancy information withPrincipal supervision.
• Collaborate with PBS programming and support Tier 1–3 intervention teams.
• Facilitate RtI processes, attend SIT meetings, communicate with parents, gather documentation for audits.
• Support classroom learning through non-evaluative observations and long-range planning with teachers.
• Attend department and school improvement meetings; deliver professional development to teachers.
• Provide support identified by administration and district Student Services Supervisor.
• Investigate and manage eSchool items related to student behavior per district expectations.
• Prepare for building and district level hearings; supervise lunch and hall duties as needed.
