Job summary

Tucson Unified School District seeks a Student Support Advocate to monitor student behavior at a TUSD school and ensure compliance with district and school policies. The role requires working knowledge of conflict resolution/mediation and a minimum two years’ experience with youth.

Location: Palo Verde Family Resource Center, 22nd & Kolb area. This is a 0.50 FTE, 4 hours per day, 12-month calendar position.

Qualifications

• Speak, read and write in English.
• Two years of experience working with youth.
• Working knowledge in the area of conflict resolution/mediation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting parents in the food pantry or clothing bank.
• Answering phones (when needed)
• Sorting donations.
• Assisting at the entry gates.
• Maintaining the FRC Clothing Bank.
• Picking up and dropping off donations, supplies to families.
• Supporting with FACE events.
