Qualifications

• No High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Relieves teachers of school activities that do not require teaching or professional skills.
• Relieves teachers on yard, hall, lavatory, study hall and other monitorial duties.
• Handles, stores, and distributes textbooks and instructional supplies.
• Assists with routine clerical work.
• Assists in maintaining order in the lunchroom and lunch service.
• Checks reports, notes, and library lists.
• Manages arrival and departure of bus-transported students.
• Supervises lunch service and guides students during meals.
• Leads students in daily activities, entry, dismissal and drills.
