Responsibilities

• Relieves teachers of activities that do not require teaching or professional skills.
• Relieves in yard, hall, lavatory, study hall and other monitorial duties.
• Handles, stores and distributes textbooks and instructional supplies.
• Assists with clerical work of a routine nature.
• Maintains order in the lunchroom and facilitates lunch service.
• Assists with school clerical work of a routine nature.
• Checks reports, notes, library lists, etc.
• Oversees arrival/departure of bus-transported children.
• Receives children in lunchroom and supervises lunch service.
• Facilitates service of lunch and discipline during daily activities.
• Supervise and lead children in all daily activities, including entry, dismissal, lunch and drills.
