Job summary

The New York City Department of Education is seeking a School Aide for the 2026-2027 school year in District 11, Bronx. Under the supervision of teachers, you will relieve teachers of non-teaching duties, assist with clerical tasks, and help in lunch service to ensure a safe, orderly school day.

Responsibilities include supervising students during entry, dismissal, and drills, assisting in school operations, and performing light lifting up to 10 lbs.

Qualifications

• No high school diploma required.
