Job summary

LeRoy Haynes Corporate HQ La Verne is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support educators in implementing multi-sensory individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in a nonpublic school. You will liaison between teachers, BCBA/Behaviorist teams, OT/SLP, and parents to promote student success.

Your duties include assisting with daily lesson plans, observing and managing behavior, maintaining records, and participating in safety and training programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college units.
• Ability to learn special needs and assist teachers.
• Safe practices in classroom activities and records.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist educators in implementing the IEP and review daily lesson plans.
• Observe and control behavior according to established procedures.
• Report progress to teachers.
• Provide behavioral examples and emotional support to students.
• Maintain confidentiality and student records.
