Job summary

Qualifications

• Job related experience is required.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Maintains classroom order and supports teacher.
• Delivers direct instruction of supplied materials, mainly in small groups.
• Performs clerical tasks and monitors student behavior during non-class time.
• Assists students with disabilities on and off the bus and with meals.
• Implements instructional programs under teacher supervision and monitors safety.
• Keeps records and communicates student progress to teachers/parents.

Education

AA degree or 48 college credits

Proficiency test to demonstrate college-level skills in spelling, reading, writing and math
