Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Certification in the appropriate area and level by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education.
• Licensed or eligible for LMHC, LCSW, or LICSW.
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills preferred.
• Three to Five years’ experience in mental health/clinical social work.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess academic and behavioral concerns across home, school, and community.
• Act as liaison between families and school to promote collaborative planning.
• Educate families on attendance, graduation, and college/career planning.
• Develop and implement RTI models with school and community supports.
• Provide individual and group counseling focusing on anxiety, social skills, anger management, and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate and participate in Olweus bullying prevention and PBIS activities.
• Develop behavioral improvement plans and monitor progress.
• Support Special Education processes including IEPs and 504 plans.
