Job summary

Pueblo School District No 60 is seeking an Instructional Tutor to support classroom teachers by reinforcing instruction and assisting students in small groups to strengthen understanding and study skills. The position is based in Learning Services and reports to the School Principal.

A high school diploma or equivalent and ESSA Highly Qualified status are required, along with an English communication proficiency and fingerprint background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ESSA Highly Qualified status required (Pass Work Keys or Praxis; or 48 semester hours; or an Associate degree).
• Employee must complete fingerprint-based criminal background check.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Implement instructional activities under the direction of a classroom teacher.
• Collaborate with coordinators, interventionists, teachers, and stakeholders to develop lessons.
• Assist small groups and individuals, monitor seat work, and track student progress.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
• Participate in staff development and maintain flexible schedules.
