Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and some classroom experience.
• Second language preferred for ESL assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provides support in implementing instructional plans as prescribed by the teacher.
• Monitors students during lessons and grades homework and classwork.
• Assists in researching curriculum and preparing lessons.
• Helps manage classroom discipline and keeps students focused.
• Provides tutoring to individuals and small groups as needed.
• Prepares materials and ensures supplies are available and used properly.
• Participates in test administration and records student progress.
• Completes required daily/weekly CTE classroom documents.
