• English tutors must have completed English 1510 with a grade of A.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic tutoring assistance to Hocking College students.
• Coordinate with lead instructors to ensure alignment with course objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

Skills

Strong subject-matter knowledge in the content area being tutored

Ability to listen actively and engage students in a positive manner

Ability to clearly explain concepts

Basic computer proficiency and digital literacy

Education

Currently enrolled as a full-time Hocking College student

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
