Job summary

This role requires active UWG enrollment, a high GPA, and mastery of the tutoring subject. You will report to the Center for Academic Success and participate in a collaborative campus tutoring program.

Qualifications

• Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled for six credit hours and maintaining at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Earned a grade of A in the course(s) one will tutor.
• Mastery of subject being tutored.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students individually or in small groups to answer questions on course content and provide study strategies to aid mastery of core course content.
• Maintain confidentiality and records of tutoring sessions using EAB Navigate.
• Collaborate with faculty and Center for Academic Success staff to support student learning.
