Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD is seeking a Pro Advisor to guide students through transitions to college and career. You will work with faculty advisors to interpret degree plans and provide proactive, developmentally appropriate support that promotes growth in academics, personal and professional areas.

Formación

• Master’s degree in education, counseling, student development, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in academic support, advising, retention, or transition programs in higher education.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities for student data review.
• Proactive, student-centered advising with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide holistic, proactive transitional advising to majors in the assigned College or School.
• Collaborate with the Dean and faculty advisors to understand majors and support faculty advisors.
• Monitor student progress using attendance, grades, course registration, and GPA data.
• Serve as a liaison between students and campus resources (Registrar, Financial Aid, Learning Services, Library, Career Services).
• Support student success through individualized degree planning and resource identification.
