Job summary

Victoria ISD seeks a Project Success Mentor to provide interventions for homeless and at-risk students, helping them remain in and succeed in school. Immediate start with 187 service days, collaborating with school staff, community agencies, students and families to improve attendance and outcomes.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and the ability to navigate education systems; prior experience with at-risk youth is valued and a High School diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• Two years of experience working with at-risk youth.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to network across school and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions for homeless and at-risk students to help them stay in school.
• Coordinate with school staff and community agencies to support students and families.
• Assist with attendance, enrollment, and schedules (preferred).
