Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a Student Services Retention Specialist & Navigate Administrator to support student success through One Stop services, retention initiatives, and Navigate coordination. The role develops training, supervises student staff, and enhances service excellence across in-person, phone, and online channels.

The position collaborates on campus retention strategies, provides timely analytics, manages Navigate alerts and workflows, and supports ongoing improvements

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum one-year professional and/or graduate student experience in a customer service related position within higher education.
• Minimum one-year professional and/or graduate student experience in administrative duties and/or office management within higher education.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline One Stop services and oversee Navigate coordination across campus.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training for One Stop student employees.
• Hire and supervise student staff and promote service excellence.
• Analyze cohort data and contribute to retention interventions.
