Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a Student Services Retention Specialist & Navigate Administrator to support student success through frontline One Stop services, campus retention efforts, and Navigate coordination. The role includes training development, supervising student staff, and promoting service excellence across in-person, phone, and virtual channels.

The position contributes to cohort retention initiatives, analyzes data for targeted interventions, and collaborates with campus

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum one-year professional and/or graduate student experience in a customer service-related position within higher education.
• Minimum one-year professional and/or graduate student experience in administrative duties and/or office management within higher education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training materials for One Stop student employees.
• Support frontline One Stop operations with accurate, student-centered service.
• Provide information and problem resolution for registration, financial aid, student accounts, and records.
• Input, maintain, and analyze CCR data and document retention interventions.
• Assist with Navigate alerts and case management and update Navigate AI data as needed.
