Job summary

Felician University is seeking a detail-oriented Student Success Librarian to support academic achievement and retention by promoting library services, resources, and spaces.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Library Services, you will collaborate with librarians to develop teaching materials and outreach for diverse student groups, including first-generation, first-year, transfer, non-traditional, and international students, while upholding the university's values.

Qualifications

• MLS from an ALA-accredited library school.
• 1+ years’ professional experience in academic librarianship.
• Proficiency with library databases and research tools to support student research.

Job description

Felician University is presently seeking a detail oriented, highly organized and personable specialist to serve as a Student Success Librarian.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Library Services, the Student Success Librarian supports the library’s efforts to promote academic success and retention. This position will help students succeed by enhancing and promoting library services, resources, and spaces. S/he will work with other librarians to develop teaching materials and outreach strategies to engage and support first-generation, first year, transfer, non-traditional, and international students.

Required Education:
A Master of Library Science (MLS) degree from an ALA-accredited library school.
