Qualifications

  • Three years minimum experience working collaboratively with professional staff.
  • Experience with alternative youth and service providers preferred.
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and dismantling inequity in the community.
  • Live and work with a permanent Colorado address.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engages in identifying student needs and suggests solutions.
  • Consults with teachers, parents, and school personnel about learning, social, and behavioral issues.
  • Maintains a positive school environment with conflict resolution and positive reinforcement.
  • Performs attendance advisory to motivate students to meet attendance goals.
  • Develops community partnerships to offer programs for students.
  • Maintains accurate student records and reports data findings.
  • Refers students to counselors or social workers as needed.
  • Coordinates with school staff on issues affecting academic performance.
  • Promotes literacy enrichment for at-risk students.
