Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking an Academic Support Coordinator to manage the Learning Resource Center and deliver high-quality academic support services on-site. You will oversee tutoring, workshops, writing assistance, and exam proctoring while coordinating peer tutors and ADA accommodations as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in education/English/science, 2+ years in a metric-driven setting, and strong communication and APA writing skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in education, English, science, or another relevant discipline.
• Two or more years' experience in a metric-driven role.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience providing academic support within secondary or higher education.
• Demonstrated expertise in APA writing style.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage the on-site Learning Resource Center with consistent hours of operations.
• Develop plans to increase usage of academic support resources (tutoring, web resources, workshops, library).
• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive academic support services through maintaining a Canvas shell, including tutoring and writing assistance.
• Select, train, schedule, and supervise student peer tutors; manage timekeeping for tutors.
• Proctor student exams and participate in campus activities and events.
