Job summary

DeLaSalle High School in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Academic/Behavior Interventionist to support students with high needs. You will work on Kairos and Instructional Teams, provide literacy intervention, monitor attendance and behavior, and help students stay On Track to graduate.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred), Missouri Certification in Secondary Administration, and a commitment to ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, Missouri secondary certification or eligibility.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Ability to pass extensive background check.
• Commitment to ethical and professional standards per State Board and school.

Responsibilities

• Works on the Kairos and Instructional Teams.
• Kairos: responds to walkie calls, participates in Kairos meetings.
• Instructional: supports instruction and attends grade-level meetings.
• Supports teachers with instructional and behavioral support.
• Supports Real World Learning programming on and off campus.
• Facilitates literacy intervention blocks and small group pull-out sessions.
• Monitors data points (grades, attendance, behavior) to keep students On Track.
• Communicates progress with students and families regularly.
• Facilitates student support meetings.
• Creates and implements strategic interventions to promote achievement and belonging.
