Job summary

A charter school network is seeking a 6 - 8 Reading Interventionist in Kansas City, Missouri, to support teachers in delivering high-quality education. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of teaching experience, a Bachelor's degree in Education, and strong skills in reading intervention. Responsibilities include managing classroom behavior, providing individualized student support, and implementing differentiated reading instruction. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full‑time teaching experience, preferably in elementary or middle school ELA.
• Strong knowledge of foundational reading skills, language comprehension, and intervention design.

Responsibilities

• Conduct instructional exercises assigned by the teacher focused on reading skills.
• Assist with classroom management and support the teacher in planning.
• Provide targeted reading interventions to reinforce literacy concepts for struggling students.
