Job summary

Together for Youth is seeking an Educational Coordinator to help youth reach their academic goals by ensuring enrollment in required courses, tracking earned credits, and coordinating exams and assessments. The role maintains strong relationships with each youth’s home school district and works with staff, students, and community partners to create a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in education.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work with economically and culturally diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events, meetings, and activities.
• Handle scheduling of daily school activities, breaks and summer programs.
• Ensure compliance with laws, statutes and regulations; maintain knowledge of educational regulations.
• Collaborate with contracted educational institutions to develop and run programs.
• Work with school districts to assist youth with educational progress and discharge planning.
• Maintain communication with regulatory bodies and external educational institutions.
• Oversee the student management system and prepare statistics on attendance and performance.
• Support and uphold Together for Youth's educational mission; perform other duties as assigned.
