Qualifications

• MA DESE School Counselor License preferred.
• CORI and national background check required.
• Familiarity with ASCA School Counselor Competencies.
• ASPEN SIS platform experience recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling.
• Provide post-secondary counseling and academic guidance.
• Consult and collaborate with administrators, teachers, staff, families, and community-based providers in support of students' social-emotional needs.
• Provide academic advice and career counseling.
• Participate in Student Support Teams and other intervention planning groups.
• Assess student needs and monitor progress through observations and data gathering.
• Participate in student reentry meetings.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion for all students and families.
