Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Counselor to provide personal and career counseling, case management, and individualized plans to help students succeed in the Job Corps program. The role focuses on supporting employability, retention, and completion, while maintaining strict confidentiality of student information.

The Counselor will build relationships, identify barriers, and collaborate with staff to deliver comprehensive services and ensure students stay on track for educational and career goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with at least 15 semester hours of Social Services coursework.
• Minimum of one year of experience in counseling or a related field.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and protect sensitive student information.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and individualized case management to support student progress and successful completion of the Job Corps program.
• Establish supportive and mentoring relationships with students throughout their enrollment.
• Provide personal, educational, and career counseling to help students achieve their goals.
• Identify, assess, and address barriers that may impact student success.
• Develop and regularly update students' Personal Career Development Plans.
• Monitor and assess student progress in Academics, Career Technical Training, and Independent Living.
