The position emphasizes restorative practices, PBIS, data-driven planning, and collaboration with teachers and families, with a comprehensive benefits package and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting, consistent relationships with students through daily check-ins, one-on-one meetings, and informal interactions throughout the school day.
• Serve as a go-to adult for students navigating academic, social, or personal challenges, providing guidance, encouragement, and a safe space to be heard.
• Actively engage students in hallways, common areas, classrooms, and during transitions to foster a sense of belonging and connection to school.
• Identify students who are disengaged, struggling, or at risk, and proactively initiates supportive conversations and interventions.
• Facilitate small group discussions, check-in/check-out meetings, and student circles focused on goal-setting, social-emotional development, and school success.
• Celebrate student achievements, milestones, and positive behaviors to reinforce motivation and self-confidence.
• Maintain student records, participation logs, and behavior documentation in school information systems.
• Assist with scheduling, materials preparation, and logistics for student programs and events.
