Job summary

GOAL Academy is seeking an Academic Coach to engage students in-person and online, supporting their academic and personal growth. You will collaborate with teachers and site staff to promote student success, respond to identified students, and provide outreach and support services to ensure each student achieves goals.

The role requires on-site presence in Colorado, with opportunities for professional development and a structured calendar year of 195 days.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or GED. Associate degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Education, Social Work, or related field.
• Two years of experience working with youth preferred.
• Must reside in Colorado and have a valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage students in-person and online, collaborate with teachers and site staff to promote student success.
• Provide outreach and support services, respond to identified students to help them meet goals.
• Maintain on-site presence to support students, discipline oversight, and positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Assist MTSS, truancy processes, and coordinate with Social Emotional Team as needed.
• Recruit new students through community partnerships and GOAL materials; provide tech support and academic assistance as required.
