Job summary

GOAL High School seeks an Academic Coach to engage students in-person and online, collaborating with teachers to promote success and provide outreach and support services. The role supports MTSS, attendance, and student well‑being while maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.

The position requires a valid Colorado driver?s license, on-site presence, and a background in working with at-risk youth.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must reside in Colorado.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; ideally an associate degree or college credit hours as a alternative.
• Experience with at-risk youth is preferred.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage students in-person and online to promote success.
• Collaborate with teachers and site staff to support learning.
• Respond to identified students with outreach and support services.
• Assist with student discipline and fostering positive relationships.
• Provide on-site direct support for school operations.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate degree or 2 years of college

Formal assessment in reading, writing, and mathematics
