City Year Kansas City seeks a Student Success Counselor to provide daily academic and social-emotional support at a partner public school. You will deliver tutoring, lead small groups, monitor attendance, and help create an engaging classroom environment.

Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll collaborate with teachers, receive ongoing coaching and training, and model leadership, equity, and inclusion while helping students build skills and confidence to succeed academically and personally.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily academic and social-emotional support to students.
• Deliver tutoring and lead small groups.
• Monitor student attendance and engagement in class.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and training; model leadership, equity, and inclusion.
