Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Education, Student Services, Educational Leadership, Youth Development, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience with secondary students, at-risk youth, or alternative education populations preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners.
• Experience using student data to monitor attendance, engagement, behavior, and overall student success.

Responsibilities

• Promote student engagement, attendance, behavioral success, and school connectedness through proactive support and family engagement.
• Monitor attendance, engagement, behavior, and progress; identify students needing additional support.
• Meet with students and families to develop goals and address barriers to success.
• Coordinate intervention strategies to improve attendance and engagement.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and community agencies to connect students with resources.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations, employers, colleges, and agencies for postsecondary opportunities.
• Support student orientation, onboarding, and integration into the school community.
• Assist with building operations, supervision, and adherence to school policies.
• Support school-wide initiatives related to student engagement, climate, and graduation attainment.
