Job summary

Washtenaw Community College seeks an Executive Director of Student Success Services to lead Counseling, the Student Resource Center and Success Coaching, guiding students through their lifecycle with data-informed strategies and timely interventions.

The role requires a Master’s degree in counseling or related field, 7+ years in leadership for student services, and 3+ years in counseling. The position is full-time on campus in Michigan with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related mental health field from a regionally accredited college or university.
• At least seven (7) years of leadership and professional experience in student services or related field.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in a counseling setting.
• Licensure as LPC/LCSW/Psychologist preferred; Michigan licensure requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Counseling, the Student Resource Center and Success Coaching.
• Develop data-driven interventions to ensure timely support for at-risk students.
• Oversee program budget, expenditures, and grant opportunities in partnership with Grants office.
• Develop and maintain TargetX dashboards for caseload management and retention monitoring.
