Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in student advising at the post-secondary level.
• Professionalism in program delivery and office setting.
• Technical competence with basic software and willingness to learn MSU tools.
• Experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and have candid conversations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one and group appointments with students.
• Assist students with time-management and learning strategies.
• Provide student-facing education on learning management and courses.
• Connect students with instructional support to improve retention.
