Job summary

Montana State University seeks a dedicated Success Advisor to support students within the Access and Success team. You will conduct intervention and advising meetings for students needing additional support in time management, learning strategies, and study planning.

This role focuses on promoting persistence and degree completion through targeted coaching and resource navigation. Reporting to the Senior Access Officer, you will deliver workshops and individual sessions, assist with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Experience in student advising at the post-secondary level or with career coaching.
Demonstrated experience delivering programs with professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one and group appointments with students.
Assist students with time-management, learning strategies, and goal setting.
Provide student-facing education on learning management and university resources.
Connect students with instructional support to improve retention and graduation.
