Job summary

Jacksonville State University is seeking a front desk assistant for the Student Success Center. You will deliver excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff, guide visitors to tutors, and ensure proper check-in/out in JSU Navigate.

Multitasking and confidentiality are essential in a fast-paced academic environment. Flexibility to work around class schedules, participate in mandatory trainings, and collaborate with diverse campus partners is required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a JSU student taking at least three hours per fall or spring semester.
• If not a first-time student, GPA must be 2.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
• Direct students to the appropriate tutor or staff member in the SSC.
• Ensure students are checked in/out of JSU Navigate.
• Assist with monitoring the SSC 2nd floor.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
