Job summary

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is seeking a Case Manager for the CARE Team to assess student needs and coordinate referrals to campus and community resources.

You will serve as a primary connector for students, promoting wellbeing, safety, academic success, and persistence through coordinated intervention and support. A bachelor’s degree is required, with two years of related experience; a master’s may be preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; two years of related experience in student services or case management.
• Experience supporting students through complex situations with assessment, referral, coordination and follow-up.
• Master’s degree preferred in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive intake and needs assessments to evaluate student concerns.
• Coordinates referrals to campus departments and community resources.
• Maintains ongoing outreach to monitor progress and follow-up.
• Keeps accurate case records and documents communications.
• Collaborates with campus staff, faculty, and external partners to support student wellbeing and persistence.
