Job summary

KU School of Business is hiring a Student Success Assistant to help undergraduates connect with the School of Business community and navigate campus resources. The position focuses on programming, administrative duties, and engagement activities, requiring strong communication and organizational skills and availability for occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience providing high-quality customer service.
• Strong written communication skills demonstrated in application materials.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, coordination, and implementation of student success programs and initiatives, including workshops, events, leadership programs, community-building experiences, and meetings.
• Coordinate event logistics, including materials preparation, room setup, student communications, and on-site event support.
• Support assessment and evaluation efforts by collecting student feedback, tracking participation, and assisting with data-informed program improvements.
• Provide peer support to students experiencing academic challenges by helping identify strategies, engagement opportunities, and campus resources that support academic success and persistence.
