The University of Kansas seeks a Student Success Assistant to help build community and support student success within the School of Business. You will assist with programming, administration, and outreach, acting as a positive representative of the School of Business community.
This role emphasizes event logistics, student engagement, and collaboration with professional staff to improve the student experience and access campus resources.

Student Success Assistants partner with professional staff to advance this mission by supporting initiatives that strengthen community, foster belonging, and enhance the student experience within the KU School of Business.
We are seeking an undergraduate student who is passionate about contributing to the student experience and serving as a positive representation of the School of Business community. This role is designed for students who want to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable professional experience.
As a Student Success Assistant, you will help students build connections to the School of Business community, navigate challenges, engage with campus resources, and identify opportunities that support their academic, personal, and professional success.
Throughout their employment, student employees will maintain and manifest positive actions that align with and support the Code of Conduct for the School of Business.
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
(1) Student employees are not eligible for remote work arrangements unless an exception is approved by the unit leadership and HR. (2) This is an hourly/non-exempt position. A student employee cannot hold an hourly/non-exempt position and a salaried/exempt graduate or undergraduate position (GRA/GTA/GA/RUA/RGA) concurrently.
