Job summary

The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM seeks a dynamic Student Success Specialist for the TRIO/SSS program. You will provide ongoing academic advising, engage with low-income and first-generation students, and help promote outreach activities to increase program participation.

Typical duties include advising sessions, workshop delivery, and data-informed reporting. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff role based at Main Campus with occasional evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Degree may be substituted with additional experience.
• Experience in higher education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic advising and financial aid/scholarship guidance.
• Assist with outreach and retention activities to attract and serve SSS students.
• Support logistics for workshops, orientations, and events.
• Maintain records and assist data collection for reports.
• Participate in professional development and team collaborations.
