Job summary

College Living Experience (CLE) in Austin, TX seeks an Academic Coach to support neurodiverse young adults in college readiness. You will work one-on-one to strengthen executive functioning, organization, study habits, self-advocacy, and confidence while helping students navigate higher education.

The role emphasizes patience, creativity, and adapting approaches to individual learning styles. Prior teaching, tutoring, or education-related experience is valued, with opportunities to collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Teaching or tutoring experience required or preferred.
• Experience supporting students with learning differences or special education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic coaching based on each student’s learning style and goals.
• Review syllabi, assignments, and deadlines to help plan study schedules.
• Teach executive functioning skills: organization, time management, prioritization, task initiation.
• Help students prepare for exams and complete projects with effective note-taking.
• Collaborate with campus services and professors for holistic student support.
