Responsibilities

Provide academic advising to students majoring in the College of Education undergraduate programs.
Engage in professional communication with undergraduate students on advising issues.
Participate in collaboration with other advisors and colleagues in the College of Education.
Provide assistance to students with regard to placement, transfer, graduation, certification and other degree-path issues to ensure student success.
Collaborate with colleagues on admissions, orientation, recruitment and retention events sponsored by Academic Affairs and Student Affairs.
Prepare advising files for students ready to enter student teaching that will be reviewed by the Director of Educational Placements.
Generate and disseminate data reports from myNKU/SAP, Navigate, Watermark SLL and other university sources of information.
Serve on College of Education and NKU committees as appropriate to the duties/responsibilities of the position.
