Eastern Kentucky University – Richmond Campus seeks an Advisor, Professional Academic to guide assigned freshmen and sophomore students in developing academic plans and retention strategies.

You will help with onboarding, petitions, transfer credits, and course scheduling, and you will use DegreeWorks, Advising360, Banner, and Slate to keep timely, accurate records.

This exempt, full-time position offers collaborative teamwork and opportunities to contribute to student success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• One or more years of experience working with students in an advisory capacity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Primary Academic Advisor for assigned freshmen and sophomore students to develop an academic plan and retention strategies.
• Review degree audits for graduation applicants to ensure timely degree completion.
• Collaborate with other advisors and Associate Dean to learn curriculum and track curricular changes.
• Collaborate with college advisors to support advising efforts for in-person and online programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
