Job summary

The University of Wyoming is seeking an Academic Advising Professional for the College of Arts and Sciences Advising Center to coordinate and deliver advising services to undergraduate students. You will guide students on degree requirements, assist with petitions, and collaborate with faculty and senior staff to ensure curricular alignment.

On-campus position located in Laramie, WY. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience; FERPA knowledge and excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year work-related experience with student populations, administration, program development, or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, personal, and some career advising to students in the College of Arts and Sciences.
• Liaise with senior advisors and faculty to understand curricular requirements and degree objectives.
• Utilize student information systems to access and organize student information.
• Maintain accurate student files with advising notes and documents.
• Assist with petitions and related forms, ensuring timeliness and confidentiality.
