Job summary

You will maintain advising records, develop Individual Academic Plans, conduct study skills workshops, assist with financial aid forms, and collaborate with the Director of Student Support Services to support at‑risk students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Guidance or a related field required.
• Three years of counseling/advising experience with diverse student populations required.
• Experience serving low-income, first-generation students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, financial, career and personal advising and referrals.
• Encourage degree/completion of associate degrees or vocational certificates.
• Develop, monitor and evaluate tutoring programs and advising records.
• Develop Individual Academic Plans and conduct study skills workshops.
• Assist students with financial aid and admissions forms and maintain confidentiality.
