Job summary

Eastern New Mexico University - Roswell is seeking a part-time, temporary tutor to help students in grades 6–12 in a classroom setting. The role includes tutoring in English, Mathematics, Science, Health and other subjects and collaboration with faculty under the GEAR UP Academic Advisor.

Responsibilities include promoting student success, supporting various ability levels, and facilitating group study sessions while ensuring inclusive practices for diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, email, and Blackboard.
• Ability to travel within a 50-mile radius.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in English, Mathematics, Science, Health and other subjects.
• Support students across a range of ability levels.
• Collaborate with faculty to support classroom instruction.
• Facilitate group study sessions.
• Be mindful of diverse backgrounds and needs of students.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
