Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability’s Oceans Department at Hopkins Marine Station in Pacific Grove, CA seeks a Student Services Administrator to coordinate housing, onboarding, and student life for Hopkins-based students and postdocs.

You will work with Biology and Oceans staff to support degree progress, training, and campus resources while ensuring alignment with Stanford policies and practices. This role requires collaboration and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and four years of administrative experience are required.
• Experience in higher education or Stanford systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Act on behalf of the supervisor to establish priorities and resolve administrative problems.
• Schedule, organize, and execute complex conferences, seminars, and events within budget.
• Draft documents and correspondence for presentations and reports; edit and verify content.
• Plan calendars, resolve conflicts, and arrange travel per policies.
• Create complex reports and spreadsheets using specialized software; monitor budgets.
• Coordinate maintenance, office moves, and workspace logistics.
• Supervise student or temporary staff, assign workloads, and provide feedback.
• Lead on data collection and reporting to improve programs at Hopkins Marine Station.
