Job summary

New-Mexico-Highlands-University seeks two front desk staff for the Albuquerque Center. Morning shifts start at 8am, evenings at 1pm, Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays possible. Flexible hours, Fall 2026 term, located at Albuquerque/SW Campus (CNM-Montoya site).

Duties include data entry, phones, greeting customers, and other tasks as assigned. Candidates should be NMHU students enrolled in at least six credits, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Active NMHU student with at least six credit hours.
• High school diploma or GED acceptable for entry.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and route inquiries to appropriate offices.
• Set advisement appointments on the shared calendar.
• Greet guests and direct them to the correct offices.
• Answer center emails and process USPS mail.
• Assist in student services and center events.
• Support digital media outreach projects as needed.
