Job summary

Samuel Merritt University in Foster City, CA is seeking a Student Services Coordinator to coordinate access to holistic services and support for students, including tutoring, counseling, health services, financial aid, and registration.

You will organize co-curricular programming and professional development, and work closely with the Assistant Dean of Students for Campus Life to assess and meet students’ non-academic needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate access to student services across departments.
• Plan and deliver student orientation and co-curricular programming.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Dean of Students for Campus Life and Academic Leadership.
• Assess and communicate students’ non-academic needs and program effectiveness.
• Coordinate Career Services for healthcare-related opportunities and resumes.
• Maintain relationships with Registrar, Financial Aid, Student Services, and other offices.
• Serve as ombudsperson in crises and guide students through SMU processes.
• Travel to SMU campuses as needed.
