Job summary

Massachusetts Bay Community College is seeking a part-time student employee to support the front desk operations of the Academic Achievement Center (AAC) and its virtual operations. You will assist students who need access to resources, and help create materials to guide student workers covering desk and virtual tasks.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, customer-service oriented, quick learners with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the front desk operations of the AAC.
• Support the virtual operations of the AAC.
• Provide outreach to students who may have trouble accessing resources or services at the college who contact the AAC.
• Create foundational guiding materials to assist student workers who may cover desk and virtual operations.
• Be culturally responsive to individual needs and identities.
• Provide other assistance as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
