Work Schedule: Fall/Spring – Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm or 9 am–6 pm; some evenings and weekends may be required. Summer Hours – Monday to Thursday, 8 am–7 pm. Work Calendar: 12 months. Phoenix College is seeking a dedicated and student-centered professional to join the Academic Advising team as a Student Services Analyst (Academic Advisor). This role supports student achievement by helping students navigate educational pathways toward degrees, certificates, transfer, or workforce credentials. Duties include advising on course selection, academic planning, registration, transfer opportunities, and degree requirements; connecting students with tutoring, testing, counseling, financial aid, and other support services; contributing to college-wide student success initiatives (including Guided Pathways); collaborating with faculty, staff, and campus partners; and conducting group advising sessions, workshops, and outreach to current and prospective students. The role also supports proactive retention efforts and engages in data-driven improvement of advising practices and student success strategies.

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Sociology, Business Administration, Communication, Counseling, Liberal Arts or Sciences, and two (2) years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform essential duties.
